Wood Green wanted a new website which both showcased their new brand and reflected the organisations clear goals. The site had to streamline re-homing, ensure their diverse activities beyond animal re-homing were showcased and was interactive and engaged with existing supporters whilst attracting new ones.

The site integrates with the charity's re-homing database, CLAWS and search filters make it easy to find the right type of animal in the right location and begin the process of rehoming right from the website.

The homepage features clear calls-to-action to rehome an animal, donate, and get involved while a new “Fun & Learning” section includes games, quizzes and downloadable resources for teachers.

The community aspect was very important therefore we made sure the site provides lots of opportunities for user interaction. The site features:

  • Petbook - where people can add information, pictures and updates about their pet
  • links to the charity’s social networking profiles so that Wood Green can engage with supporters
  • a Pet memorial section where people can pay tribute to pets who have passed on

We hope that its modern, fresh and vibrant look and informative and interactive features will ensure it attracts a younger, wider audience as well as appealing to our existing supporters.”
