St Helens Chamber appointed tictoc to develop an interactive and information led website which would engage with their members and prospective members. The site contains a large quantity of information and resources so a ‘user led’ navigation system with multiple routes to content was required. Features include the ability for members to pay their annual fees via secure online payment and new members to join online, to facilitate this the site integrates with their internal member management system. Users can view and book upcoming events, members can post recruitment vacancies and log-in to a secure members portal full of valuable information.
Intranet
As part of the website project tictoc were also appointed to create a staff intranet to encourage internal communication and involvement. The site includes standard information such as staff handbooks, interactive message boards, a searchable staff directory and every day essential content such as an expense form. The intranet can be viewed remotely from any computer through secure password access.
Starting Point microsite
Following the development of their website and intranet St Helens Chamber appointed tictoc to develop a recruitment microsite which enabled local organisations to display any current vacancies. The site also includes a forum as well as a variety of helpful information, tips and resources for individuals looking for employment.
