The Sumatran Orangutan Society is dedicated to the conservation of Sumatran orangutans and their forest home.
Their international branches raise awareness of the threats facing wild orangutans, and raise funds to support their grassroots conservation projects in Sumatra. Together with a team of committed Indonesian conservationists, SOS work with local communities living alongside orangutan habitat, visiting schools, planting trees and providing training to help the local people work towards a more sustainable future for their forests.
THE BRIEF
The organisation had an existing website which was in need of major improvements to the look and feel, navigation and user experience while remaining true to its primary target market of current and potential donors. It will also be visited by members and supporters and people looking to find out about Orangutan conservation in general therefore will become a fantastic resource of all the organisations information with the ability to really grow and expand.
We are absolutely delighted with the new site. tictoc have designed it to be incredibly user-friendly, so visitors can now navigate easily to find out why Sumatran orangutans are critically endangered, about our projects, and what they can do to help. It is now a dynamic site, and a friendly and bright 'face' for the charity. We are confident that our new site will help us raise awareness and attract new supporters. The creative minds at tictoc have done a wonderful job - thank you!
