The Muir Maxwell Trust works with children with epilepsy and their families and carers to give them practical support, and also to speed up the diagnostic process.
Requirements
From small beginnings the Trust has emerged as one of the UK’s leading charities supporting paediatric epilepsy, and has raised over £3.5m for child sufferers in just 5 years.
The Trust wanted to take their first steps online, and provide an information resource for parents and carers of children with epilepsy. Having no online presence affected their marketing, their ability to speak to potential supporters, and their communication with parents and professionals involved in looking after children with epilepsy. They wanted a site that would not only keep people up-to-date with the Trust's activities, but let them know how they could get involved.
Solution
tictoc developed a site that provides the Trust and supporters with an online focus. The site provides information about the Trust’s work, and how you can support them. Campaign information is easily found, along with reports of fundraising events that have been held. We developed a gallery so that the Trust can upload photos of fundraising events, and a newsroom where they can post press releases. The site also facilitates online giving by linking to the just giving site.
