Study London, a promotional campaign representing univeristies and higher education colleges in London, has launched a new website to attract more international students to London.
The Study London campaign promotes London as an educational destination and as the best city in Britain to be a student. The campaign team works closely with universities and higher education institutions to attract more international students to study in the capital and is supported by the Mayor’s Office, the London Development Agency and Visit London. And a quick fact for you...there are over 97,000 international students in London from 207 different nations...wow! The Study London Campaign must be working!
The new Study London website that we here at tictoc have designed and developed, contains an extensive course search tool, which allows students to search courses at all the Universities and HE Colleges in London from one place - and there are over 30,000 courses to choose from - rather than having to visit each separate institution’s site.
There is also a ‘Student Advisor’ tool, which answers any questions that prospective students may have about studying and living in the capital. The ‘University Guide’ section provides a short profile of each university, helping prospective students to compare different institutions.
International students can use the site as a useful tool once they are in London, with the ‘Visit London’ section giving information about the London social scene including visitor attractions, shopping, eating, and sport, while the events section provides a calendar of diverse events in London for the entire year.
Simon McCaugherty, Project Manager at Study London said:
The new Study London website simplifies the application process for international students who wish to study in London. Students can easily navigate from advice to application with the ability to search a database of 30,000 courses and contact more than 40 universities in London. Tic toc have been instrumental in providing a simple, well sign-posted navigation for the complicated process of finding a university course online.”
