The website we've been developing for Mind, the leading mental health charity in England and Wales, has gone live.
Mind helps people take control of their mental health by providing high-quality information and advice and campaigning to promote and protect good mental health for everyone.
The site provides comprehensive information about over 150 mental health conditions and topics, and an online shop where you can buy a range of information booklets and publications that support the charity’s work. The new blog section features blogs from the Chief Executive, other members of staff and guest bloggers. Their blogs address controversial issues and have generated lots of comments and feedback. The site also allows you to link through to the charity’s Facebook and Twitter pages, where you can show your support and keep up with what the charity is doing.
tictoc has developed an extranet to help Mind’s local associations communicate with each other, and an intranet for Mind staff to share documents and information. The site will continue to evolve as other functionality is incorporated, such as event management to allow people to book events online, and an information management tool to help staff who work for the Mind Info Line organise information.
Paul Farmer, Chief Executive of the mental health charity Mind, said: We are delighted that the new site is up and running and hope that people will benefit from accessing everything it has to offer. It offers a wealth of resources, with useful information on a wide range of mental health topics. I’m particularly excited about the blog too and hope that people get involved by leaving comments and taking part in the debate.”
Jo Kerr, tictoc Project Manager said: Working on Mind's website has been a fantastic experience for tictoc. The Mind team have a clear vision for their online communications. We're helping them to realise that vision, while expanding our existing experience in the charity sector.”
