Together for Short Lives
Together for Short Lives is the new name for ACT and Children’s Hospices UK – two national children’s charities which recently merged. Following a competitive pitch, tictoc are delighted to have been appointed by the charity to develop a new site which replaces the old sites and will form the centre piece of the new charity's communications strategy.
Key objectives for the project are to promote the brand, raising awareness of what the charity does and positions them as a leading children's charity which is making a difference to the lives of children and their families. Also to raise awareness of children's palliative care and to ensure site visitors know about the support that's available to them. The website must convey the concept of the charity clearly to the general public but also to professionals to ensure more children and their families are referred and supported.
Fundraising is obviously going to be a huge objective for the project as is facilitating two way communication between the charity's members. Social media will also form an important strategic element of the website to enable them to develop and further conversations with existing audiences and extend their reach to new audiences.
